"You could easily get away with pretending you made these yourself, which should not be surprising when you consider that the whole premise of this brand is baking like Grandma used to. Sadly, there’s only four in the pack, but these mouth-watering pies are a decent size with thick and moreish pastry and a good dollop of tangy, mincemeat, so you shouldn’t feel too short changed."

Best mince pies...
Can't fault these mince pies - absolutely delicious, and I really liked the lack of plastic packaging. I wish they did savoury pies as well.

Mince...
Best mince pies I have ever tasted!
-
Fantastic...
Purchased the mince pies in a local shop and fell in love with them (already a fan of the Parkin Biscuits). A friend from Lancashire came round and also fell in love with them so ordered a Christmas bundle of pies and parkin biscuits. The mince pies are the best we have tasted - and we have tasted a lot

Superb quality of food and a superb service

Scrumptious
Although I have bought various products from Lottie Shaw's I had never tried the mince pies as I am not a big fan of them. Originally bought some as a gift for someone else but they looked so nice I tried one and then another until the 'gift' was gone. Ordered more as the pastry is melt in the mouth, the filling is luscious and they are a nice size. A well deserved 5 stars from me.

Not up to the usual service...
Silly of me to order near Christmas when Lottie Shaw's are bound to be busy despatching hampers. Despite paying for next day delivery on Monday morning the parcel didn't arrive until Thursday. I emailed a query but received no response - which is very unusual for this firm. The trouble with 2 days late and no information is that we are then stuck indoors for days, even having to take it in turns to walk the dog, as we are trapped waiting for the delivery. The Parkin in the card box was a great Yorkshire themed addition to a welcome pack. The same product in the plastic wrapper is still good, but not quite as visually special. We'll still be ordering every 6 weeks or so though - our guests are always pleased with the Parkin and frequently refer to it in our guest book.
