Back to Our Roots: A New Chapter for Lottie Shaw’s

You asked, we listened. And we are bringing back a little more of what makes Lottie Shaw’s so special.

At Lottie Shaw’s, we have been on quite a journey over the last couple of years.

Whilst our much-loved recipes have stayed just the same, you may have noticed some changes to the way our products look.

We have tried some new things along the way, including some rather bold packaging designs. But looking back, we feel we moved a little too far away from the warmth, character and Yorkshire heritage that have always been at the heart of Lottie Shaw’s.

And some of you told us exactly that!

We have spent time listening to your feedback, talking to our customers and thinking about what makes Lottie Shaw’s so special.

And we have listened.

We are delighted to share that we are going back to our roots, bringing back some familiar favourites and giving our packaging a fresh look.

Bringing back a little more Lottie Shaw’s

One of the first things you will notice is the return of our original Lottie Shaw’s logo, with a few thoughtful changes to give it a fresh feel whilst keeping the character you know and love.

We are also bringing back our beautiful Yorkshire Parkin gift box, complete with its lovely gold foiling.

It is a design that has always been close to our hearts. Although we will not be going quite as far back as the days when Ian hand-tied every single swing tag!

Our biscuit boxes are getting a refresh too, with designs that sit beautifully together and reflect our Yorkshire roots. We are also pleased that our new tall biscuit boxes will be printed using vegetable-based inks.

You will notice softer, more traditional colours replacing some of the brighter packaging, giving our range a warmer, more familiar feel and we are moving back to our previous fudge and fruit cake designs.

And something else we are particularly pleased about...

Our Yorkshire sayings are back!

Those little touches of Yorkshire personality have always been part of who we are, and you will start to spot them appearing on more of our packaging.

The Same Seriously Good Bakes

Whilst the packaging may be changing, what is inside certainly is not.

You can still expect the same seriously good bakes, made with the same recipes and the same care that have always gone into our products.

From our Yorkshire Parkin to our buttery shortbread and delicious biscuits, it is all about creating those little moments of enjoyment, whether that is sharing something with family, giving a thoughtful gift or simply sitting down with a cup of tea.

Looking Ahead

Going back to our roots does not mean standing still.

We have lots of exciting ideas for the future, including some lovely new products that we cannot wait to share with you.

For me personally, it is wonderful to be working closely with the team at Lottie Shaw’s again, helping to shape what comes next whilst holding on to everything that makes the bakery so special.
