Our Rich Luxury Fruit Cake is packed with fruit which we have taken the time to soak in Stout from our friends at Little Valley Brewery in Cragg Vale. I had an Irish Grandma who baked her fruit cake using stout and her recipe gives the cake depth and flavour.
Each cake is hand wrapped and presented in a card box making it the perfect gift to be enjoyed with a cup of tea and a slice of cheese, just as we do in Yorkshire.
Our fruit cake is made using nuts, so is not suitable for those with a nut allergy.
Please note this product contains alcohol.
This product has a minimum shelf life of 6 months from baking, so there is plenty of time to enjoy this treat.

Gorgeous fruity...
So often fruitcake is a disappointment...dry or scratchy fruits. This cake is gorgeous it has real depth, gorgeous flavour and lots of lovely fruit. Really great quality and absolutely delicious. Will be buying more. Lovely

Disappointed
Bought 4 items fruit cake with beer was bitter n seriously heavy. I also got cake with raisins in that you couldn't actually eat n the pastry case just crumbles into bit. That went in the bin as well . Not buying anything again. Spent a lot of money on stuff that you couldn't eat . Very disappointed.

Yorkshire Stout Rich Fruit...
Another winning birthday present for my brother! He lives too far away to pop around with a home made birthday cake so Lottie Shaws special fruit cake was the only acceptable answer. He 's a Yorkshireman, likes a stout and loves fruit cake! Arrived on time, always well packaged and delicious. Thank you once again for a great choice and exceptional admin. 5***** of course.

Best Yorkshire Stout Rich Fruit...
Was googling fruit cakes online and came across your Web page. So glad I did, purchased a Stout Fruit cake and Yorkshire Fruit cake. Best fruit cakes I have purchased. Moist and full of fruit, delicious. Ideal with cheese. Highly recommended if you are a "fruit cake" girl like myself.

Cracking...
Cracking Easter gifts. Lottie Shaw never fails to please! A great standby for last minute gifts and surprises. But for us the icing on the cake is fish and chips followed by ginger Parkin especially at the seaside!

I love Lottie's Yorkshire parkin and biscuits but have problems finding it over here on the other side of the hills. I had even tried a slab of Lancashire parkin - most went into the bin - it was too heavy and dense to give to the birds! Then I found the website! Total bliss. I made my first order and sat back to wait, but not for long as two days later the box arrived. Beautifully packaged, I unwrapped my cakes and biscuits and immediately sat with a cup of tea and slice of Parkin. Thank you Lottie and friends for the taste and memories of home (Ossett)
